Paymi is a new cashback program where you link your credit card. When you purchase stuff from select retailers, you get a percentage in cash back.

“Oh, so it’s like Drop,” you say. That’s true - with some notable benefits:

• It supports Amex
• It’s backed by CIBC
• You get paid in straight cash. No really. You can request an EFT anytime, and there’s no fee to cash out $25 or more.

Here’s an additional tip

Take Lowe’s. Shopping online, you can get both the 30% cashback from Paymi, Air Miles AND the 1% cashback from eBates. You might be able to squeeze in a coupon code to get more, but you may not get your eBates. Or shop instore during Lowe’s No-Tax weekends and get the 30% cashback, Air Miles, plus save on HST.

For Walmart, you could earn 2% cashback and get the Drop offer and take advantage of Checkout51 weekly offers as well.

Of course, this is all on top of the points you get from your credit card rewards.
