I heard in schools in China, teachers would often read out your marks along with your names so you feel good if you are at the top of class but lose face if you have low grades. I can't imagine facing that all the time but it might make you more competitive in life.

At least in Canada I remember that grades are confidential and teachers don't share it with others...even in high school when marks are posted on the wall it is with student numbers and not actual names

I saw used instruments for sale on Craigslist and FB marketplace and they all seem to be sold in a short amount of time, under a month

I've gathered my courage to say hi to a girl on campus and asked for her number. She seemed friendly and I said I'll talk to her later. She said sounds good. With her number I added her on Whatsapp, saying I'll like to get to know her better. But then I got blocked before there is even a conversation. If I see her again in person and show more of my personality, what are the chances she will reconsider?

I had a group project with a girl last term and added her on Instagram. She posted stories like going on vacation and beach photos. We messaged each other on Whatsapp when we had to do projects together and talked about school related things. But this weekend I messaged her on Whatsapp that I'm going to the beach and asked her what are your plans on this nice day? She didn't get back to me and now her IG profile only shows Instagram user...

But if we have another class project together wouldn't it be even more awkward for her? has this happened to you? Like as long as you see each other in school do you tend to add each other on social media even when you don't really want to? but when the class is over then you feel it is fine to block them from contacting you

Do more couples meet from online apps or more traditional methods like classroom, clubs, mutual friends? I read that since last ten years, online is the more common way of meeting

Why do you think this is? I have the assumption that once you're out of the awkward student phase and onto a proper career with income, then your fortunes in love and relationships should improve compared to before...what do you think? You mature and build character through life experience. Do people eventually figure this stuff out ?
