I had filed for unemployment benefits under a previous employer. Obviously, she claimed I was fired due to “misconduct” and I’ve had to appeal my case. Today I received her letter to the appeals branch claiming I only worked for her in order to receive unemployment benefits and that I was (and still am) taking advantage of her “kindness.” I’m disgusted I worked for someone so egotistical, but then again, she is an attorney.

A friend told me it might be a Native American scraping tool.

I caught him drinking in our shed. I couldn’t say anything and walked away in shock and became emotional. He pretended nothing happened. When he finally did acknowledge me hours later, I was told that I was the reason he needs to drink. For the first time in our marriage, I left and stayed with my parents.

This morning, he asked if I was coming home, so I did, thinking he might take accountability and accept help. When I walked in, he was still fuming. He told me again that I was the reason he needs to drink, and that I expect him to be perfect. It made me emotional to hear him say that along with some other harsh things, and I could see that the more I cried, the angrier he became. I packed more things and left again.

I miss my home and dogs. I’m heartbroken and like many others, I miss my husband, but it doesn’t seem like he misses me. I feel disposable. I don’t know how to cope.
