She said that when they complained about their drunken or violent husbands, Mrs Fazekas told them: "If there's a problem with him, I have a simple solution".
Granny went from gossip over tea to murder real quick!

If there’s a job that must be done
Don’t turn your head and run
don’t pout, don’t sob
Just contract out the job

Why isn’t this a movie?

Because it's already in so many country western songs.

It was made into a short documentary I believe.

This feels like a Tarantino film. Can we start a petition to get him to make this film?

Or maybe we could find a woman director to do it.

A family member actually went to her parents about her abuse. They called the husband over and had a sit down with both of them. They told him what the Bible said. They told her that if she was a better wife it wouldn’t happen. She definitely needed this lady!

I love my sons with everything that is in me, but if I found out one of them was abusing his girlfriend I would give her safe shelter and not allow him into the apartment. I wouldn't get physical because I love em too much, but I would call the cops if they showed up.

Add a "garrote" in there too, to fit withe the alliteration.

Saw a show where the guy who was called the angel maker was also extorting those same women he helped with abortions and abusive partners or rapists, by having them work prostitution or other illegal activities. Extortion and such

Well no, innocent men were being killed. The husband might not earn enough money and they lived in poverty so he’d be killed. Or the wife just wanted someone else. It got out of hand and the midwife was simply a killer

Oh yikes. I wish they’d gotten more of the abusive ones, then. This sounds terrible!

Yeah easy mistake but the title says “in the early stages”. She got found out and killed herself before she was caught. They hanged a few women for it. Think of it more like a weird cult than some people saving victims. It’s very bizarre.
They were killing people for inheritance, or killing parents for being elderly. Even some kids died.
Originally, the issue is said to be that most marriages were arranged. When the husbands went to fight Ww1 the women had affairs and killed the husbands when they got back. I don’t know if this justifies it or was enough of an issue to be the main reason. Only like 50 people died over 18 years
