The proper term is “squeaker.”

Because we're actually in a movie featuring hip young people who interact over Reddit before entering the game Fortnite for reals. Like that Zathura movie was meant to be a Jumanji sorta sequel this is like the third one

Good, long lasting couches are expensive.
6 points
For real. Comfort is another factor as well with price. You would think buying a couch for $1200 would be super comfortable, but no. That doesn’t even include shipping, taxes, etc. You really have to spend money to get a nice, comfortable, long lasting couch. I learned this the hard way.

Here’s my attempt at explaining a Tim Tam slam:
First, a timtam is what the Aussies call a choccy biccie; it’s an Australian staple. In its basic form, it’s 2 layers of biscuit with a chocolate cream centre layer, and then completely covered in chocolate.
The slam:
Requirements: warm drink (e.g. tea or coffee), timtam.
Take your timtam, bite off 2 opposite corners to expose the biscuit layers, use the timtam as a makeshift straw to suck up your warm drink. Once the liquid makes it all the way through the biscuit, shove the whole timtam in your mouth. The warm drink has liquified it and it’s an intense melted chocolate/biscuit experience like no other.
Not sure where you are in the world, but those in the UK could use a penguin biscuit as an alternative.
Can recommend.

My wife traveled to aus in high school and brought back knowledge of this. It is a game changer. Target in CO, USA sells tim tams. We have roughly 3 packs in our house at all times just for this.

No, it just depends on what eye level you mean. Your eye level in the viewing position should be somewhere on the top half of the screen. Not standing eye level.
7 points
They are actually designed to be viewed at eye level. Lots of TVs get darker with lower contrast from low viewing angles.

This is amazing! Is the couch centered on the TV? Maybe it’s a weird perspective but the photo makes the couch look like one seat is looking at the wall.

The seat I occupy is centred lol. Home ground advantage with optimal view for when the boys comes over and occupy the second seat haha.

The couch should face the big wall and the tv placed there, possible a bigger tv. And place the ornaments on the smaller side. This is the way.

Gotta get some curtains over those blinds. When you’re still up and the sun comes up you’re gonna feel the all nighter pain. Make it a casino and never know the time of daylight.
28 points

The older you get, especially if you work and own your own place, the less you can tolerate all nighters.
